The Kop, January 29 1972. A sea of faces look on as Liverpool destroy Crystal Palace 4-1 with goals from Chris Lawler (2), Ian Callaghan and Kevin Keegan.Ian Holden, supporter: “Liverpool v Palace was the first full game I went to as a 10-year-old boy. I remember being totally overwhelmed by the whole game. Just keeping your head up high enough to follow the game was an effort for someone so young.
